About Soulful Shift

A place where healing, purpose, and practical support come together for anyone seeking clarity — including those in recovery and the facilities that serve them.

The heart behind Soulful Shift

I have always been someone others turn to for support, encouragement, and guidance. For many years, however, I gave so much of myself to the people around me that I gradually lost connection with who I was, what I needed, and what I wanted for my own life.

As my children grew older and began leaving home, I entered a season of significant transition. My marriage was struggling, the life I had imagined no longer looked the way I expected, and I experienced the heartbreaking loss of my best friend to suicide.

Together, these experiences brought me to a place where I knew I needed to choose myself and begin rebuilding from within.

My Journey

I began a journey of self-discovery, inner healing, emotional regulation, and intentional personal growth. I learned how important it is to slow down, notice what is happening within, and reconnect with the parts of ourselves that can become lost while caring for everyone else.

This is not a journey I consider finished. I continue practicing the tools I have learned and working on my own growth every day.

One of the most meaningful lessons I have learned is that choosing yourself does not mean turning away from the people you love. It means learning to care for your own well-being, understand your needs, and create a stronger foundation within yourself.

I also came to understand that while meaningful change begins within, we are not meant to navigate every difficult season alone. Compassionate support, practical tools, and a safe place to be seen can make a powerful difference.

I knew I wanted to dedicate my work to supporting others, but I also wanted professional training so I could offer that support in a thoughtful, constructive, and responsible way. Through breathwork, coaching, and the programs I have created, I can now offer support that encourages deeper awareness, personal responsibility, and meaningful growth.

Supporting Women in Recovery

Since the beginning of a local women’s addiction-recovery program, I have facilitated weekly breathwork sessions and developed meaningful, trusted relationships with many of the women involved.

As women began completing the program and returning to everyday life, I heard a common concern through our conversations. Many were leaving behind the structure, connection, accountability, and consistent support they had experienced during the program.

I recognized that completing a recovery program was not the end of the journey. The transition back into relationships, family life, responsibilities, work, and the outside world could bring new challenges. Many women still needed connection, encouragement, practical tools, and a supportive place to continue growing.

Listening to their experiences inspired me to create a recovery-transition program designed to support women as they reconnect with themselves, strengthen the tools they have gained, clarify their values and goals, and move forward with greater confidence and intention.

I also created the Soulful Shift app to make support more accessible beyond our time together. The app offers guided reflection, personal-growth tools, encouragement, education, and resources individuals can return to as they continue their journey.

This work grew from listening, building trust, recognizing a need, and wanting women to know they do not have to navigate the transition alone.

Through Soulful Shift

Through Soulful Shift, I offer breathwork, coaching, recovery-transition support, education, and personal-growth programs designed to help individuals slow down, reconnect with themselves, gain clarity, and take intentional steps toward the life they want to create.

My goal is not to tell someone who they should become. It is to offer a compassionate space, meaningful tools, and steady support as they discover what feels aligned for them.

Rooted in purpose. Guided by vision. Aligned in integration.

The mission

Soulful Shift was created to help people move through life’s transitions with dignity, clarity, and hope. Whether you are navigating recovery, facing a crossroads, or simply feeling ready for something more, this work meets you where you are.

The approach

My work is rooted in compassion, trauma sensitivity, and a deep respect for each person's unique path. I do not offer one-size-fits-all solutions. I offer steady presence, evidence-informed tools, and a space where you can be fully human. For recovery facilities, it means bringing that same trauma-informed lens into staff training, resident programming, and partnerships that strengthen the continuum of care.

Rooted in Purpose, Guided by Vision, Aligned in Integration

You are not who you were. You are who you choose to become.

Every step forward is a choice. The work here is not about fixing the past — it is about claiming the future you are ready to build, with purpose as your compass and integration as your path home.

Values that guide the work

Compassion

Every person is met with warmth, not judgment.

Safety

Trauma-informed practices create spaces where healing can happen.

Purpose

Change becomes meaningful when it is connected to values and vision.

Partnership

Collaboration with facilities expands the support people receive.
